DoT HAS CLARIFIED THAT THERE IS NO ORDER FOR FREEZING IDA OR IDR. THE ORDER IS GIVEN BELOW. IN SPITE OF THIS, THE SBI HAS NOT CREDITED ENHANCED RATE OF IDR IN PENSION ACCOUNTS ALONG WITH THE PENSION FOR MAY 2020. WE HAVE ADDRESSED AN EMAIL TO ALL THE 17 CPPCs OF STATE BANK OF INDIA IN THIS REGARD, ATTACHING THE DOT ORDER.

Our CHQ issued an Extra Ordinary Appeal for donation to Combat Covid Fund on 29-3-2020. Despite lockdown through the country, banks and post offices remained closed and in the absence of any transport facility, our members promptly and positively responded to the call. Today is the 50th day since the Appeal. Total amount of donations made by members of AIBSNLPWA is Rs 79.34 Lakhs.

AIBSNLPWA has written a letter to CMD, BSNL to exempt Ex Gratia granted to VRS optees from income tax based on two High Court judgements.
